Details on Release Notes 2019 Dress Code

Finest Playa Mujeres enforces a dress code in order to ensure the comfort of its guests. The dress code applies to both men and women, so please plan your dress accordingly.

In the evening, restaurants enforce a dress code that they refer to as “Elegance.” Men must wear long dress pants and a dress shirt. Women have more flexibility and may wear a dress; or long dress pants, Capri pants, or a skirt with a blouse. Both men and women must wear shoes or “elegant sandals.” T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, and flip flops are not allowed.

For lunch, restaurants enforce a relaxed dress code that they refer to as “Casual.” Shorts, bermudas, sarongs, and t-shirts are welcome. Sleeveless shirts and tank tops are not permitted to be worn by men. Wet clothes and swimsuits are not permitted.

Conference activities also have a dress code that we ask you to adhere to. For all evening activities, including all receptions and dinners, please plan to adhere to Finest Playa Mujeres’ “Elegance” dress code. For all other conference activities, the “Casual” dress code will be used. We ask that you please not wear bathing suits (including “coverups” over bathing suits) while in the ballroom where our talks will be delivered.

Recognizing that conventions for swimwear vary across cultures, we advise you that topless bathing is not permitted for women at Finest Playa Mujeres. All guests should wear bathing suits both on the beach and poolside.
